독일 운전면허증 이야기 2. 서류 준비

사전 정보 조사가 끝났으면 다음으로 서류 준비가 필요하다. 사실 준비할 서류는 간단하다. 

 

필요한 정보는 시청 홈페이지에서 찾아볼 수 있다. 홈페이지는 독일어/영문 변경이 가능한데 이상하게도 영문으로 변경하면 메뉴가 달라져서 아래 해당 경로를 찾기가 어렵다. 크롬 브라우저를 사용하여 페이지 번역을 하면 한결 편하다.

참고로 운전면허증는 독일어로 Führerschein이다. 중간에 ausländischen Führerschein umschreiben 이 메뉴가 외국운전면허증 교환이다.

필요한 서류 목록이다.

1. Valid official ID with photo  

which fulfills the passport and ID requirements in Germany

2. Certificate of first or renewed residence in the Federal Republic of Germany (is issued by immigration office)

3. Foreign driver's license in the original

which has entitled or authorized to drive motor vehicles in Germany; Translations must be made by a translator who is publicly appointed and sworn in Germany or a recognized automobile club.

4. Photograph

current and biometric 35 x 45 mm, no rounded corners

 

여권, 거주허가증, 한국운전면허증과 번역공증문서, 사진 이렇게 4가지만 있으면 된다. 간단하다.

 

운전면허 번역은 주프랑크푸르트 대한민국 총영사관 홈페이지에 들어가면 예시와 함께 다운로드할 수 있다. 예시대로 작성하여 영사관에 가면 공증받으면 된다.

사진은 Biometric 35 X 45mm 규격이 필요하다. Biometric이라고 한국에서 찍는 사진과 약간은 다른데 드레스덴 자동차등록사무소에서는 사진 크기만 맞춰보았었다. 

두 번째 준비 서류 Certificate of first or renewed residence in the Federal Republic of Germany에 대해 나는 Anmeldung 서류로 생각하고 이를 준비했다.

하지만 이것이 바로 경기도 오산으로 삽질의 주역이었다.

등록 사무소에서는 이 서류가 아니라 Immigration office에 가서 해당 서류를 다시 받아오라했다.

오늘 서류를 제출하고 싶은 마음으로 바로 immagration office에 가서 1시간 반을 기다린 후 18유로 수수료를 지급하고 거주확인증을 발급받았다.

이렇게 다시 준비한 거주확인증 포함 4종 서류를 들고 드레스덴 자동차등록사무소를 다시 찾았다.
